SICTA (Sistemi Innovativi per il Controllo del Traffico Aereo, meaning, Advanced Systems for Air Traffic Control) is a non-profit research consortium established at the end of 1993 by the Italian Agency for Air Navigation Services (ENAV S.p.A.) and SELEX-Sistemi Integrati.

SICTA mission’s is to:

·        support the Shareholders in defining technical solutions, taking into account the guidelines provided by European Commission initiatives in the Air Transport domain

·        collaborate with the Italian and European scientific community in the execution of innovative projects whose aim is to optimise the cost-benefit ratio of ATM systems and improve air transport safety
